The brewing process behind the taste

To make the best non-alcoholic beer, you have to start with the best foundation. The base of BERO beer is a mash that’s brewed at a higher temperature to create a blend lighter on alcohol, while preserving big flavor. Our wort starts at 5-6%, compared to the typical 12-13%, which ensures BERO is crisp and not overpowering.
To create our signature bold flavors without the alcohol, we use a unique maltose-negative yeast. This specialized yeast ferments simpler sugars like glucose while leaving the malt sugars (maltose) untouched. The result is a rich, complex beer profile that develops through fermentation, delivering depth and character, without producing alcohol.
We use a natural fermentation process; no shortcuts. By allowing the yeast to work at its own pace, we unlock layers of complexity that define our beers. This is where the crisp, refreshing bite of a Kingston Pils, or the smooth, tropical notes of an Edge Hill Hazy IPA, come to life, creating brews with depth, balance, and flavor that consistently exceed expectations.
