This focus on genuine craft, narrative, and human connection is at the core of what the studio does and what makes the collaboration with BERO truly one-of-a-kind.

With over twenty years of experience in illustration and design, Giulio Miglietta has dedicated himself to chainstitch embroidery, a rare craft that’s been at the heart of his work for the past decade.

After getting his first machine and learning from scratch he went on to hone his skills to become a master of chainstitch embroidery.

In his South East London studio, every piece is created from scratch on vintage chainstitch machines, blending old-school craftsmanship with modern storytelling. Giulio’s passion lies in using chainstitch embroidery not just as a technique, but as a way to connect people and tell meaningful, personal stories. The studio has collaborated with artists and brands from George Ezra to Gant and Dr. Martens, always emphasizing the importance of the handmade process and the story behind each piece.

Chainstitch is a craft that has historically brought together like-minded groups, from sports clubs to motorcycle communities, and Giulio’s studio continues that tradition by keeping the art alive and thriving in a contemporary context. This focus on genuine craft, narrative, and human connection is at the core of what the studio does and what makes the collaboration with BERO truly one-of-a-kind.
